The workshop consists of making a customizable laser-cut seamless kimono (garment). It will take place in our Montreal studio, located in the “fashion district.”

Duration: 3 h - 3h30

Program:

• Introduction to laser-cutting / digital fabrication

• Design selection in our digital file library + try-on of the (2) vest designs to determine which size and style you want to customize/ produce.

• File customization + preparation with adobe illustrator (a small step-by-step guide will be given to you)

• Laserable materials overview + Textile (you will be able to pick the colours of your choice within our selection of spacer mesh fabric)

• Laser-cutter set-up (step by step)

• Production of the garment

• Assembling of the garment

• Laser-cutting resources + tips and tricks + questions

The workshop includes:

• Material (included)

• File preparation + seamless garment assembling guides

• All cost for the production of the project

• 15% discount on any other workshop, material testing or production

What you will need:

• A laptop/computer*

• Adobe Illustrator software/ Adobe Creative suite*

*We have another computer with adobe illustrator that you might be able to borrow but contact us to make sure that it will be available.
